Immediate emergency treatment for alcohol poisoning:

• Stop drinking alcohol
• Start drinking water
• Do not sleep it off

If the person is passed out and wont respond, having shivers, seizures, or vomit profusely :

1. pinch their nails or tap their chest to wake them up.
2. If they are lying down passed out, make them lie on their side, as the picture shows
3. Don’t hesitate to call an ambulance, 9-1-1 in the United States and Canada, 9-9-9 in the UK

Hospitals are better equipped to deal specifically with alcohol poisoning, they may pump your stomach, or give you some cocktail of activated charcoal, syrup of ipecac, and narcan. These together may be given alone or combined to absorb the alcohol toxins in your body and accelerate treatment.
